Challenge

Tecla runs co-working spaces in four cities, each with its own website built by a different freelancer. Booking pages looked different everywhere, the product team spent weeks on every new page, and the brand fell apart whenever a city launched an offer. Tecla was about to hire twelve people and wanted the mess fixed before it doubled. A fifth city was planned for the next spring.

02

Approach

We started with a printed audit — every page of every site pinned to our wall — and cut it down to forty components. The system lives in one shared library with tokens for type, colour and space, documented with real Tecla content instead of filler. We rebuilt the booking flow first, so the team felt the gain in week three, not month six.

03

Outcome

Time to ship a new page fell 41 %, and the four sites now share one booking flow. The twelve new hires onboarded on the system in their first week. Product still adds components, but through a review we set up together, so the library grows without breaking. A fifth city launched on it in nine days, without a freelancer, and the brand finally looks the same in every inbox and every lobby.
